Subscribers and enquiries.

Every page gives a good reader a reason to leave a name, attributed to the expert who earned it, in a list the firm owns.

KindFeature
DeliveryBuilt into the hub

This is the part of the hub that turns a reader into somebody you can contact again: a subscribe block on every profile and topic page, an enquiry route on every expert, and a list the firm owns and can export whenever it wants.

It is not a pop-up and it is not a gated download. Nothing on the hub is hidden behind a form, because a reader who has to trade an email address to read the thing they came for usually just leaves.

Why it matters

What owning the audience actually changes.

Most good readers arrive onceSomebody who reads your expert on the exact problem they have is worth more than a hundred passers by, and without a way to leave a name they are gone in a click.
The name is attached to a personA subscriber who signed up on one expert's page is a warm introduction for that expert, which is a much easier conversation than a generic marketing list.
The list belongs to the firmIt is your subdomain and your list, exportable at any time, so the audience does not sit inside a platform or leave with an individual.
It compounds with everything elseThe same list feeds the monthly newsletter, and every piece that gets published gives the people on it a reason to come back.

What it does

How a reader becomes a name.

01

A reason to subscribe, on the page they liked

The block sits under the work rather than in front of it, and it offers the one thing that reader has already demonstrated they want, which is more from this person.

  • On every profile page and every topic page
  • One field, no gate, nothing hidden behind it

Attributed to the expert who won them

Every name arrives with the page and the subject that produced it, so the firm knows which expertise is actually pulling and which partner has an audience.

A reason to come back, every month

A subscriber is not a name sitting on a list. It is somebody who has agreed to hear from that expert again, and every piece that gets published is a fresh reason for them to return rather than a cold email asking them to.

  • One email a month from the person they chose to follow
  • Repeat readers are the shortlist your partners should be calling

Our view

Why we do not gate anything.

Jordan Greenaway
The instinct is always to put the good piece behind a form. What actually happens is that the person you most want, the one with the problem and the budget, reads two lines, decides they are being sold to, and leaves. Publish the whole thing and ask them to follow the person who wrote it.

Questions

What firms ask about this.

+Do you gate content to get emails?
No. Everything on the hub is readable without a form. The subscribe block sits under the work, so the only people who sign up are the ones who read it and wanted more.
+Who owns the list?
Your firm. It is on your subdomain, exportable at any time, and it stays with you if we stop working together.
+How many subscribers should we expect?
It depends entirely on how much gets published and how specific the subjects are. A firm publishing steadily for a year usually has a list in the low hundreds, made almost entirely of people in its own market.
+Do subscribers get spammed?
One email a month per expert they followed, written by us and approved before it goes. Nothing else is sent without your say.
+What about GDPR?
Consent is captured at the point of subscribing, the privacy policy on the hub sets out what is collected and why, and unsubscribing is one click.
+Can we push these into our CRM?
Yes, either forwarded as they arrive or exported in bulk. Several clients send them to a shared inbox and let their own team route them.
+Do enquiries come to us or to you?
To you, within minutes, with the expert and the subject attached. We see them too, because what people ask about tells us what to publish next.
+Is there a pop-up?
No. The block is part of the page and it does not move, cover anything or follow anybody down the screen.
