Which firms are included?
Every active law firm with its registered office in Greater Manchester, 378 in total. National firms with a Manchester branch are counted where they are registered.
My firm isn't in the top 50. What does that mean?

How was it measured?
52 Google searches with the top 30 results classified, and 104 answers from two AI models with web search switched on. The full method is in the report.
Does it measure the quality of legal work?
No. It measures findability only. Most work still arrives by referral, and this index looks at the work that doesn't.
Will there be another edition?
Yes. This first edition is a baseline, and later editions will report who has moved.
